Week 8 Portfolio Project & Reflection

During this assignment, students will write a short reflection of their experience in the Media Communications

Certificate program to this point, make corrections to their personal event press kit from week 6, store this project for use in their final portfolio. To accomplish this activity, students will choose a media storage platform for their personal event press kit to incorporate into their final portfolio project. As a result of this learning activity, students will solidify the newly acquired knowledge and skills. Additionally, creating basic documents for a media kit requires client research and an understanding of why the assets are created. Working with this simulated media campaign will give you insight into the media distribution process, as well as revealing some of the career paths that are available with a Media Communications degree.
